The Beginning of The End [Blue]

Hige yawned as he passed the hotel. He hated sleeping in 'human places' but he needed a good night''s rest. So now here he was, checking into a hotel. He walked to the room and unlocked the door with the key they had given him. Leaving the door cracked, he went over and laid on the bed. What a boring day. Even Hige could not find anything fun about it. And he always seemed to find fun wherever he went. But not today. Maybe someone would come along to provide him with a more fun day. Like Blue. Who knew.

"Where are you when I need you, Blue?"

Hige put his arms behind his head, looking up at the ceiling.

Sitting in the lobby, behind a large plant of some kind, blue eyes scanned the building as she waited patiently. Then as the doors opened for the 76th time, she caught the scent of what she waited for. A smile met her face.

Closing her eyes Blue air scented to see how long he had been by, and not long since. She got up and walked over to the front desk, and was greeted by a over smiley female, smiling back she asked Reservation under Hige? waiting for her to search the computer, really Blue didn't have to be here. She could have followed his scent, but nope.

Then after she did respond Blue smiled politely and turned away from the desk and headed towards the room. She reached the room and sighed, then knocked quietly, and glanced around her.

That scent. Hige knew it anywhere. He opened the door, and saw her smiling. He smiled as well. Then he gave her a quick hug. He stepped aside, inviting her in.

"Well, well, Blue. About time you came. Been waiting all day for you."

He put his hands in the packet of his yellow hoodie, and leaned against the wall. He remembered suddenly that day in the alley, when he first held her in his arms, and smiled wider. He had to wonder, did she love him as he loved her?

"Blue, remember that day we met, in the alley?"

Hige longed to tell her his feelings, but fear of her not feeling the same held him back.

Smiling Hige opened the door and he hugged her, Blue hugged him back looking into his brown eyes. I'm sorry, been relaxing I suppose! she replied entering the room, looking around taking in her surroundings.

When she looked at Hige again, he was standing in his typical position with his hands in his yellow hoody pockets, with a calm look upon his face leaning against a wall. This was so typical of him. It was how she had first come across him as well.

Hmmm.. let me think... Blue thought sarcastically. You were silly enough to get involved with me weren't you?![/b] she said calmly walking over to a couch and sitting on it I was a danger, and you seemed attracted to me, and rather big headed! she giggled looking across he room at him.

Now he actually had her thinking about her past, and that was something that she didn't want to remember. Blue sighed and leaned back closing her eyes.

"Attracted to you? Big headed? Is that really how you think of me, Blue?"

Hige closed the door and sat beside her on the couch. Suddenly, she seemed... sad. Was she remembering Quent? Is that why she was sad. He put his arm around her, looking into her blue eyes.

"What's wrong, Blue? Being around me should make you feel better, not worse!"

Hige smiled. Of course he was joking. He wasn't THAT self-centered. Suddenly he was in wolf form, nuzzling her hand. The collar that hung loosely around his neck in human form, now fit in perfectly in wolf form.

"You know you gotta love me!"

This time he was only half joking. For he did want her to love him.

His voice had a hint of something in it, but not too sure what it was, Blue kept her eyes closed. She felt him come beside her, his arm felt reassuring opening her eyes hers met his. I know, I know. I'm fine Blue said with a smile.

He then shifted, and his body covered with thick soft brown fur. She smiled wider and stared at him as he nuzzled her, she felt the need to shift as well, it felt better. As she did, Blue's body became covered in dark fur, and she was somewhat warmer.

Blue wagged her tail and nuzzled Hige back she curled body around his and whined softly, he was the only one who seemed to actually like her, even with her past.

Hige wagged his tail as Blue curled her body next to his. Wolf form was so much better than human form. As he looked at Blue's beautiful eyes, he felt warm inside. He licked her muzzle suddenly, Brown eyes gazing at her.

"Blue, I love you."

A sudden scent hit his nose, however. Toboe. He growled slightly. He didn't want that runt around. It killed his time alone with Blue. The scent grew stronger and he sighed. Toboe knew they were there, but he was hesitant. He knew Hige didn't want him here. He could smell it. He could smell Blue too. And suddenly he wondered what they were doing in there... alone.

"Toboe, that little runt! Go away, Toboe."

Hige growled.


(btw, i have decided to adopt Toboe, that's why I'm roleplaying him)

Blue's ears pricked up and swirled like radars, then her eyes met his, and they held I know you do! she replied to him with a nuzzle. But before long his attention was drawn away.

And Blue as well could smell it, her eyes narrowed Who is that? she asked Hige who did not seem at all happy to have company. She let a small growl out to match Hige's.

"A little runt who's in my pack. Our pack."

Hige padded to the door, shifted, and opened it to reveal Toboe. He let out a snarl, but as he saw a person he pushed Toboe in and closed the door before they saw Blue.

"Blue meet runt, runt meet Blue."

Toboe frowned. He was not a runt! He picked himself up and turned into a wolf. At least that made him look slightly more intimidating. Hige quickly changed as well. They were seconds away from a fight. And a fight in a hotel full of people would not be good.

"I'm not a runt, Hige!"

Hige's only reply was a snarl. But he thought better of having a fight here, and stepped back. He leaped onto the couch, and breathed in Blue's warm scent. Toboe sat on the floor.

"Kiba sent me to look for you Hige. He got worried when he hadn't seen you in a while. He says to come back to the pack. Now I will go and tell him your okay. Bye..."

Blue had watched him open the door, her eyes widening a bit as she spotted Toboe. He was young, cute, and a bit small but she wouldn't be rude to him, that wasn't like her. She watched as Toboe went wolf, seeing his wolf form looked a bit like Hige's. A smile played on her maw, a chuckle escape her maw.

She almost got to hers paw to leap in front of the two males but Hige had come back to her. She brushed her muzzle across his neck softly before glancing at Toboe. She listened to what he had to saying, frowning slightly.

"Toboe, it's nice to meet you. Also, Hige is fine, he doesn't need Kiba looking after him like a mother hen, thats my job" she chuckled as she hit Hige's head softly with her paw. Her blue eyes gleamed with mischievous. She then flicked her gaze to Toboe, dipping her head slowly then meeting his gaze with hers. Her icy blue eyes where showing no expression a cool look.

Hige smiled and watched as Toboe shifted and opened the door, leaving the room. He licked Blue's muzzle and gazed longingly at her.

"So, Blue, what should we do now?"

Hige wrapped his tail around her. She had showed much more patience for Toboe than himself. But maybe all he had wanted was to spend the day with Blue, and only Blue. He smiled and wagged his tail gently. Kiba. How dare Kiba send Toboe looking for him like that. But now he was blocking all that out. He was focusing his attention on Blue now.

Blue turned her head slightly, one ear flopping to the side. She gave him a soft low then spoke "Hm...what to do?" she pretended to think as she tensed her muscles. She then leaped onto Hige, growling playfully and nipping him. She was smiling while she pinned him. She chuckled softly, licking his nose before leaping off the bed and turning, spanking her paws on the ground.

Playing would be good for now. Blue had to much energy to do anything else.

Hige growled playfully as she leaped at him. When she licked his nose, he was dazed for a few seconds. Then he felt her weight come off of him. He watched as she leaped onto the bed and spanked her paws to it. Hige gave another play growl and leaped after her. He pushed her back, gently and playfully, and pinned her down like she had done to him. He placed a paw lightly on her chest.

Then he stepped back, wagging his tail. Blue sure had a lot of energy today. It wasn't often she played like this, if ever. And as far as Hige knew, she only played with him like this. That made him feel special.

"Oh, Blue, I love you so much."

Hige nuzzled her as he said this.

Blue had let out a small yelp of astonishment when he had pinned her. When he let go, she had rolled to her paws, shaking her fur. When he spoke about his love for her, her heart skipped a beat and her eyes softened.

"I Love You Too Hige. I Always Will" she put her head on his back, trusting him and loving her. She would always love him for eternity because he was her other half. He was the reason she was a live.

"Back at you. So there's gotta be something else fun for us to do. Want to go out somewhere and do something? Or just hang around here, and, will I don't know what there is to do around here."

Hige smiled as she laid her head on his back. He could stay like this forever. Alone with his one true love. He didn't even need the pack. All he needed was Blue. But suddenly he did miss Kiba, Tsume, and even Toboe. He decided he and Blue would go back to the pack. Tomorrow. Today was his day with Blue.
