IC Example:
The warm morning air swirled around the glade. The long grass was swaying, a ripple of green waves. The sun was a royal pink, orange and yellow as it began to rise in the sky. The clouds, fluffy and white floated across the vast sky. Zebra's ran in the distance, gazelles and impala's at their sides. Smaller mammals clung to the shadows of the grass, keeping out of site. A predator such as a jackal and a fox dotted here and there but that was all. It was peaceful and home. The scar that the drought had caused was slowly healing. The animals where coming back and the prey was plentiful. Home was here and would never be forgotten to these animals. They had made their mark in this environment in which they called home...and one of the most precious of these mammals was coming back...the African Wild dogs.
A large brute had appeared. He was handsome and powerful, a great beast that was hard to come across these days. His appearance would make hearts stop...but he did not gloat over that fact. Starting from the bottom, the brute had large paws with sharp black claws that dug into the terra with each step. His pillars where long and thickly muscled, perfect for speed and strength. Each movement of one of his pillars was graceful, and powerful. He had a large bodice and chest, perfect for endurance. His neck was muscled and his dome was large. He had large, velvet soft auds. His orbs where the richest of dark molten brown. He has a long muzzle with black lips, are white teeth with spots of yellow. His tongue was a rich pink. The brute's pelt was the purest, richest golden honey like the morning sun. Black and dark brown sprinkle his coat, giving him the African Wild Dog look. The fur around his face was a golden orange, and he had a black mask. His velvet auds where black.
The large brute stopped walking, his orbs scanning the place. His muscles where taunt, dome high and nostrils twitching. He opened his jowls, his tongue flicking out to test the air. His tail waved back and forth as he tried to locate his prey.....there. The brute caught the smallest movement in the long, green grass. He lowered his bodice and began to stalk forward, paws making not the slightest sound. The large jackrabbit came into view. It had a molten fur of brown and white, still not having shed it's winter pelt. It was fat and delicious. The brute smiled as he waited a second, muscles tensing before he sprung. Muscles rippled as he shooved from the ground, moving in perfect arc to land on the jackrabbit. His teeth founds the soft throat and locked on. His prey struggled but he ignored the feeble attempts as he shook his dome, the rabbits still in his jowls.
Finally, his prey went slack in his mouth. He set it on the ground, teeth dripping blood. He shook his dome, flicking his auds back as he scanned the horizon. Coast was clear, no predator was in site. Glancing back at his prey, he picked it up again and began to walk. He knew he was in another African Wild Dog pack. He had sniffed the markings, knowing the leader was a alphess with not alpha. He had ventured into the territory looking for her, with a thought in mind. He swished his tail slightly as he tried to pick up her scent, to find her.
The brute stopped, tilting his head and almost dropping his prey. A new scent came to his nostrils. He tried to locate where the 'thing' was knowing what it was. Another African Wild Dog. He growled softly in his throat, not about to let whoever it was get his prey. It was his present to the alphess and no one was going to have it beside's her. Dome coming up, auds flicking back, he showed his teeth. Pelt was bristling, and muscles taunt he looked like a warrior and alpha through and through.
